First, a little background on us. We started out in 1984 as IMS, a developer of effective and affordable dealership management software for the auto sales industry. In 2004, we adopted the name of our flagship DMS product and became known as AutoManager, Inc, while the software itself was renamed DeskManager. Not long afterward, we began work on WebManager, our full-service, Web-based internet marketing solution.
Today, more than 6,000 U.S. dealerships rely on DeskManager to run their business, a client list that spans all 50 states. WebManager is rapidly expanding as well, with approximately 1,000 subscribers and counting.
